Chamer Resignation

I have been informed that Paul Celeri, Vice-President of the Bayview Chamber of Commerce, resigned his office to president, Linda Williams effective March 30 at 6:45pm. Details as to the reasons and issues will be made public at a future time and date by Paul.

Coming up this summer are issues that will affect Bayview Daze and other activities. We wish to enphasize that Paul's resignation was completely voluntary.

The Bayview Chamber of Commerce has been beset for several years now with conflicting interests and has been in constant turmoil. (My Statement.)

It is important for you to note that if you do not like my opinions, it is not required for you to read this blog.

Since I didn't remark specifically about the resignation there was no need to check with anyone else.

If you ever attended a Chamber meeting you would see that it is not "beset for several years now with conflicting interests and has been in constant turmoil". Sure there are disagreements that come up as in any committee or organization, but there is discussion and a chance to make personal voices heard by the process of voting. Is this a strategy to get people to read your blog, so only your "statements" and opinions are put in print? I guess I don't understand how you can make comments such as this when you do not attend meeting and such to find out first hand what is actually happening. Interesting.

Aagain, most of the folks that read my blog on an ongoing basis, aree more thatn they disagree with me. If, however, you wish to attack either my motives or any other, remember the difference between us. I sign my name to everything. You comment anonymously. If you wish to continue you are going to have to come out from behind that rock you are hiding behind and tell us all who you are.

I stay away from Chamber meetings for a purpose. Since the organization has become an adjuct to the DAC, I feel it has lost it's legitimacy. Unless important newsworthy stuff comes out, I intend to ignore you. I suggest you do the same. I write editorials. Opinion. Nobody has to agree with me. They are mine and I own them.

As defined in the Webster-Merriam dictionary:
"a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer; also : the contents of such a site"

Hope that helps.
