TINA QUITS

Citing irreconcilable differences, Tina Arendt, the third General Manager of Waterford Park Marinas, resigned today. Tina has managed the Waterford Park Marinas for about two years, traveling through the shark infested waters of Waterford Park Homes, LLC business practices. Noting that she lasted longer than anyone before, she apparently couldn't take the slight of hand, now you see it, now you don't policies of Bob Holland.

Many were surprised, since she has managed to bear up well, as a loyal to the core employee. Apparently, the core was reached.

Some of the projects still up in the air with Waterford Park are rumored participation in the allegedly sold trailer park and motels, respectively. Also, the erection of a three story parking garage, in an area that has an illegally diverted stream and lies in a flood plain, which we are told by the building department will not be approved. Duplexes at Vista Bay and Harborview Marinas are also in the planning stages.

Many good people have come and gone, that were hired by Holland. Seemingly immune to local opinion, Holland has ran through everyone that would wok for him, that lives locally. One can surmise that he finally went to far, and Tina, living for many years in this small lakeside community of Bayview, probably couldn't reconcile her personal reputation with that of the interloper/developer that has allegedly, a slash and burn mentality, while searching for the last almighty buck.

Herb, you should apply for that job. You've got the capital that Holland needs.

This is a surprise. Tina was always so fervent in her support for Holland and this unfortunately has alienated her with many folks. I wish her well though.

Captital??? Oh, you mean credibility.
That's all well and good, but how long would I keep it?

As to Anonymous 11, loyalty to one's employer is pretty much a requirement for working. It's when you can't do it anymore, that you should quit. Obviously, she reached that point.

I think you will find that Tina is a fine person, when she isn't saddled with the weight of an edgy employer.

For those of you that don't frequent Huckleberries, Marmitetoasty is a British woman that blogs with many of us. Crimbo, is apparently British slang for Christmas. You can find her blog listed with huckleberries links, oh, and if you don't understand half the words she uses, remember, it's us that don't speak the King's English.

She burned all her bridges already.
Maybe she needs to move.

The above quote is a sad cooment from the few who share animosity towards Bob H.
You will find that Tina was loyal to her employer because he was her employer, which as previously stated should be. Tina finally had enough and should be applauded for saying I have had enough.
She is without a doubt a caring individual. Give her a pat on the back instead of a slap in the face.

NJ,
Now that she doesn't have to be "loyal" to her employee, maybe she can show some loyalty to her fellow citizens of Bayview and help ensure this out of control developer gets what is coming to him. Herb, why don't you find out how she feels about a monster parking garage downtown? The fact that Holland thinks he can get a variance for a parking garage just shows how delusional he is. As for Tina, she has been on a power trip, and I hope she comes down to Earth now.

As previuosly stated Tina needs a pat on the back instead of a slap in the face.

By the way did anyone else see Ms. Moose the other day besides Ralph? She left really huge tracks.

How about a good spanking? She sold her soul.

Why did it take two years before realizing Holland's tactics? How much does she know that she may want to share with an attorney about his practices? Example - giving Vista Bay people less time than state law allows to vacate their trailers. Oh wait - we're trailer trash to Holland.

Silly, stupid me, I think I am better off talking to Mz Moose.

let me start off by saying i know at least a majority of people in BAYVIEW, IDAHO and there are only 270 people who live there year round(including my mom who owns a home and thomas{MY BROTHER} who helps buy the house) it is a rocky mountain lake, kind of aN obvious secret in it is a land locked resort community with no gov. to speak of because its in a remote location due to distance off the highway so its all redneck loggers an retirees and the like and of course everybody is a fisherman too. bayview is unique in all the world in that it is the only inland submarine base. and the dept of fiSh and wildlife management has an office there as well and we have people who live on the water in float homes. the history of the place is fascinating too as bayview was the major water highway going to western Canada prior to the highway.at one point there where fairy boats and A hotel miners , trappers and commercial fishing.it was the end of the line for the great northern and during wwII there where more than 300,000 servicemen there. HERE IS AN ILLUSTRATED MAP http://www.bayview-idaho.org/graphics/illmap.jpg i found this article im gonna cut and paste herE for you to read. the man writing this is the owner of a local bar/ restaurant , herb, and Ralph is his bartender. herb writes for the Spokane paper and ive spent quite A bit of time talking to him he is quite an accomplished guy of course as owner of the largest restaurant in town he is a hard working man.RALPH IS THE MOST INDUSTRIOUS MAN IVE EVER BEEN AROUND. I would say there are atleast as many people who are seasonal and are not represented in this either. Most small towns have issues that divide. Bayview is no different. Recently, however, the little resort community has come together with a vengeance. The uniting factor is a developer who swept into Bayview three years ago. Bob Holland is primary owner of several corporations locally, all limited liability corporations. Waterford Park Homes LLC is the new owner of Vista Bay Marina, Harborview Marina and Boileau's.Many residents think the perceived effort to remake this little town into a spa for the rich is ruining the personality of this oft-overlooked resort area on Lake Pend Oreille. Prices for float-home moorages and boat slips have doubled, then increased some more, pricing many middle-class boaters out of the market. Float-home owners, however, have little recourse. Since 1998, when the state prohibited any more than the existing 200 homes, marina owners have fought to raise the rates for these captive customers. At a recent meeting, the state Land Board reversed itself from its previous stance of allowing the market to float freely, realizing that the float-home owners don't have any options. It is considering now what, if anything, to do to level the playing field. T-shirts have replaced the old sandwich board for advertising. Ralph Jones, ever the entrepreneur and owner of Ralph's Internet Coffee Shop, has capitalized on this trend. He made up a bunch of T-shirts with "No Bob" logos, and they are selling well. "Bob Holland has unified this community like no other cause in recent memory," said Jones. KREM-TV featured Jones on a recent newscast. A committee report by Hobart Jenkins at the Bayview Chamber of Commerce meeting on June 12 claimed multiple code violations of building regulations and misuse of the waterfront. At the same meeting, Chip Corsi, state Department of Fish and Game regional director, reported on damage done to kokanee spawning beds by allegedly sloppy practices at the Harborview Marina by Waterford Park Homes. Corsi estimated the fish has a 65 percent chance of extinction. He also said the department is going to try for delisting bull trout from protected to a limited fishery. Plans also apparently are in the works for a civil-action attempt to recover the $1.4 million estimated loss from the destroyed spawning beds. **but wait there's more this place is a goldmine for discontent!the county fined Bob $2500 a slap in the face to all sportsmen who enjoy the lake and bring revenue. not to mention a criminal act of malice of forethought a clearly negligent action. A recent sewer pump failure, apparently caused by a lightning storm, burned out two of the three progressive pumps as well as the alarm system designed to signal such a failure.Bayview Water and Sewer District commissioners say no raw effluent escaped or reached Lake Pend Oreille. On a more humorous note, it was reported by a reliable source that Tina Arendt, manager of Waterford Park Marinas, had been heard to deny that her employer had had anything to do with the breakdown. Personally, your reporter believes that with karaoke at one bar and live music at another, beer sales had caused a run on the restrooms, overpowering the sewer system. *** SINCE THIS WAS WRITTEN(aug2007), THE MANAGER, TINA A HAS LEFT HIM. BOB HAS NOT LIVED UP TO COURT ORDER. What i find so funny about this is how they are all land owner who love this lake(except bob of course) and the community . when Bob first arrived in town, there where mixed emotions on what he was planning. quite a few where excited about the value of their houses going up and there was a bubble on rent and realestate but when bob anounced that he was goin to get rid of the "low lifes", i knew right off this would not be good. Bob has certainly underestimated these people.many retired military officers, engineers, and realestate agents who are also wealthy responsible landowners who know how to launch a campaign.
